Titi Lipuo Tsira is a young woman and hails from Gugulethu a black African township in the Western Cape.
Titi started singing at a very early age coming from a background of artists, mother actor father singer.
Titi sings Blues, Afro Jazz, Afro Pop fused with Traditional.
She joined a band called Earth Tones where she was a solo singer. They joined competitions like Shell Road To Fame, due ting with artists like Mxolisi Mayekana. Titi entered a music competition that was shown on TV called “Lingisa” where se won a prize in 1987. She joined a group called Heshoo Beshoo marimba dance group in 2001 and toured with them in Europe. They toured Norway for a month and when they got back they passed through Namibia for a week. Later on Titi joined a group which was called MTF and they released a CD titled “Game Of Love” in 2003.The group MTF was invited to Senegal in Dakar where they performed at a 25th Anniversary of Africa Fete and Titi collaborated with Manu Dibango because it was his 70th birthday. Titi has also worked extensively with the Ngcukana brothers
