Maphello Landingwe hails from one of the oldest black townships namely Guguletu (meaning our pride). He is a very vibrant sensational singer and dancer. His ability to get people moving to his music is amazing. Maphello is immensely talented, tempestuous and outrageous being among the many things he can be described. His musical career kicked off sometime in 1998.
Since then he has performed in different venues locally and abroad, Cape Town and Johannesburg being the local cities where he showcased his talent, and abroad in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth (Australia) and Costa De Sol in Spain.

He has also performed at Base Line in Melville, the Carlton Hotel Johannesburg, and Manenberg’s Jazz Café’s at the V & A waterfront Cape Town. The Station Hotel in Melbourne, Out of Africa Sydney, The Ivanhoe Bar, Broadway, Sydney Opera House, Sydney, Madi Grass Sydney, countless benefit gigs private functions such as weddings and birthday parties. Adding to the endless list Maphello has performed at the dinner party of Former major to Cape Town Nomaindia Mfeketo at the Arabella Sheraton Hotel.
